Janet Buhr

Glenvil resident, Janet Paula Buhr, 75, passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at Good Samaritan Society - Hastings Village, Hastings Nebraska.

Service will be Saturday, February 25, 2017; 10:30 A.M. at All Saints Chapel-Good Samaritan Village, Hastings with Pastor C.L. Wimer officiating. Burial will be Saturday, February 25, 2017; 1:30 P.M. in Hanover Presbyterian Churchyard Cemetery, Glenvil. Memorials may be given to Hanover Presbyterian Churchyard Cemetery Association or All Saints Chapel-Good Samaritan Village. Visitation will be one hour prior to service at All Saints Chapel-Good Samaritan Village.

Janet was born January 19, 1942 in St. Louis, Missouri to Murray D. & Roma A. (Bieck) Comer. She graduated from Nevada High School in Missouri and moved to Hastings, Nebraska to attend Hastings College. Janet then met Donald Dean Buhr and they were married on March 25, 1962 at Second Presbyterian Church in Hastings.

She was a homemaker and a member of Hanover Presbyterian Church where she taught Sunday school and bible school. Janet was a member of Sugar & Spice Extension Club, MADD, and Just For Fun Car Club. Janet attended various school activities and pitched in on family fun.

Janet was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, William Robert Comer.
