Janice K. Amack

Roseland resident Janice K. Amack, 83, passed away Saturday, November 16, 2024, at Mary Lanning Healthcare, Hastings, NE. 

Rosary will be at 7 p.m. Thursday, November 21, at Butler Volland Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Friday, November 22, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Roseland with Father Corey Harrison officiating. Burial will be at Assumption Cemetery in Assumption. Visitation will be 1-7 p.m. with the family present 5-7 p.m. Thursday, November 21, at the funeral home, and one hour before the service at the church. Memorials may be given to the family for a memorial to be established at a later date. The service will be live-streamed on Livingston Butler Volland Funeral Home’s website. Janice was born on May 11, 1941, in Roseland, NE to Ernest and Anna (David) Mousel. She graduated from Roseland High School. Janice married Jim Amack on February 20, 1976, in Hastings, NE. She was a homemaker and a member of the “Ladies Extension Club.”

Janice was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Anna Marie Nauert; infant sister; brother and spouse, Jerry & Sharol Mousel; and sister-in-law, Sharon Mousel.
