Jean W. Kelsey, 86, of The Kensington, Hastings, Nebraska died Friday, March 23, 2001, at Perkins Pavilion, Hastings, Nebraska.
Services will be Tuesday, March 27, 2001; 1:30 P.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel with Rev. Earl Higgins officiating. Additional services will be Friday, March 30, 2001; 10:00 A.M. at Dilday - Mottell's Mortuary, Long Beach, California with Rev. Roger Beard officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Long Beach, California.
Jean W. Kelsey was born October 8, 1914 in San Francisco, California to Henry & Edna (Merrill) Worthington. She married Howard Kelsey on December 25, 1936 at Long Beach, California and he preceded her in death on March 21, 1988. Jean was a school crossing guard for the Long Beach Police from 1958 through 1978. She was also a homemaker and a member of the Parkcrest Christian Church in Long Beach, California. She moved to Hastings in October 2000 from Seal Beach, California.
Jean W. Kelsey was preceded in death by her parents, husband Howard Kelsey Sr., granddaughter Cheri Kelsey and brother Merrill Worthington.
