Jean Weiss

Hastings resident, Jean Weiss, 73, of 2212 Bateman, died Saturday, March 31, 2007 at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital.

Services will be Wednesday, April 4, 2007; 11:00 A.M. at Faith Lutheran Church with Rev. Carl H. Rehwaldt & Rev. Paul Dunbar officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 3, 2007; 5P.M. to 9P.M. with family present from 7P.M to 8P.M. Memorials may be given to Faith Lutheran Church.

Mrs. Weiss was born June 15, 1933 in Webster County, Nebraska to Pete & Matilda (Betz) Jugert. She graduated from Red Cloud High School and married LeRoy Weiss on June 10, 1951 in Red Cloud, Nebraska. He preceded her in death on April 27, 1996. She was a homemaker and a member of Faith Lutheran Church, where she was involved in various activies.

Mrs. Weiss was preceded in death by her parents, husband, LeRoy, one brother, Pete Jugert and one sister, Doris Hoffman.
