Jeanine Myers

Former Hastings resident Jeanine D. Myers, 86, passed away Tuesday, September 4, 2018, at Sutton Community Home, Sutton, NE.

Services are 10:30 a.m. Monday, September 10, at Butler Volland Chapel in Hastings with Chaplain Aaron Phillips officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery in Hastings. Memorials may be given to Start Over Rover. Visitation will be Sunday 3-7 p.m. with family present 4-6 p.m., and one hour prior to service at the funeral home.

Jeanine was born September 1, 1932, in Hastings, NE to Roy & Carrie (Schoolcraft) Laux. She graduated from Hastings High School. Jeanine married Gordon A. Myers on July 13, 1952, at First Christian Church in Hastings; he preceded her in death on November 1, 2013. She was a daycare provider for many years out of her home. Jeanine attended First United Methodist Church.

Jeanine was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gordon A. Myers; brother, Wayne Laux; and sister, Maxine (Laux) Kennedy.
