Jeanne Seymour

Hastings resident, Jeanne Sharon Seymour, 66, passed away Monday, June 4, 2012 at Mary Lanning Memorial HealthCare, Hastings, Nebraska.

Memorial services will be held at a later date in Guymon, Oklahoma. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the family c/o Kristi Sheppard, PO Box 9, Ayr, NE 68925.

Jeanne was born July 10, 1945 in Chandler, Oklahoma to Forrest E. & Mary Lou (Reed) Mattheyer. The family moved to Guymon in the 1960's and continued to live in Guymon until her retirement in 2010. Jeanne had many friends and family in the Guymon community. She graduated from Guymon High School in 1963 in Guymon, Oklahoma. Jeanne worked at Seaboard Farms in Guymon, Oklahoma where she later retired. She then moved to Nebraska to be with her family and her grandchildren. After a short, but hard battle with cancer Jeanne passed away in comfort surrounded by family.

Jeanne was preceded in death by her parents; and uncle, Ted Mattheyer.
