Jeffrey Krueger

Hastings resident, Jeffrey Lynn Krueger, 70, passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at Mary Lanning Healthcare, Hastings, Nebraska.

Services will be Saturday, February 25, 2017; 10:00 A.M. at Faith Lutheran Church, Hastings with Pastor Paul Dunbar officiating. Burial with military rites by Nebraska National Guard will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings. Memorials may be given to Faith Lutheran Church and Ducks Unlimited. Visitation will be Friday, February 24, 2017; 1:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. with family present 5:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home, and one hour prior to service at the church.

Jeffrey was born October 2, 1946 in Blue Hill, Nebraska to Anton & Betty (Broughton) Krueger. He graduated from Blue Hill High School and then served in the Army National Guard. Jeffrey married Carolyn A. Burge on October 22, 1967.

Jeffrey was employed as a forklift driver for Flow Serve in the shipping department for 49 years until his retirement. He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, NRA, Ducks Unlimited, and Pheasants Forever. Jeffrey enjoyed watching Nebraska football, hunting, and fishing.

Jeffrey was preceded in death by his parents.
