Jerome Knapp

Hastings resident, Jerome J. Knapp, 48, died Saturday, July 21, 2012 at his home.

Rosary will be Friday, July 27, 2012; 9:30 A.M. with Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10:00 A.M. at St. Cecilia's Catholic Church, Hastings, Nebraska with Father Joseph M. Walsh officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska. There will be no public visitation.

Jerome was born December 29, 1963 in Lincoln, Nebraska to Joseph K. & Mildred C. (Nejezchleb) Knapp. He graduated from St. Cecilia's Catholic High School in 1982. Jerome spent many years in Texas and returned to Hastings in 2007 where he worked for Centennial Plastics as a forklift operator in the shipping department. He was a member of St. Cecilia's Catholic Church and loved hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family.

Jerome was preceded in death by his parents.
