Jerry Jacobsen

Hastings resident Jerry L. Jacobsen, 83, passed away Saturday, May 26, 2018, at Bryan Medical Center West Campus, Lincoln, NE.

Services are 11 a.m. Saturday, June 2, at Butler Volland Chapel in Hastings with Pastor Dale Phillips officiating. Burial will be at 11 a.m. Monday, June 4, in Lincoln Memorial Cemetery, Lincoln, NE. Memorials may be given to the family for a memorial to be established at a later date. Visitation is one hour prior to service at the funeral home.

Jerry was born July 4, 1934, to Clifford & Emma (Stange) Jacobsen in Walton, NE. Jerry worked as a tile setter and carpet installer in Hastings. He married Judith “Judy” Mitchell on October 1, 1953; she preceded him in death in 1995. Jerry was a member of Faith Lutheran Church.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Judy Jacobsen; son, Pat “Jake”; daughter-in-law, Pam; and three great-grandchildren.
