Jimmy Adler

September 13, 1941 — April 28, 2001

Jimmy Lee 'Jim' Adler, 59, of 502 So. Baltimore Ave., died Wednesday, February 28, 2001 at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital.

Services will be Saturday, March 3, 2001; 2:00 P.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel with Pastor Kathleen Kasper officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Hastings, Nebraska.

Jimmy Lee 'Jim' Adler was born September 13, 1941 in Hastings, Nebraska to Jacob & Betty (McCoy) Adler. He attended Hastings schools and graduated from Hastings High School in 1960. He worked for Burlington Railroad in the 1960's and for the Cornhusker Ordinance Plant in Grand Island, Nebraska in the 1970's. In the late 70's & 80's he was owner-operator of Jim Adler Auto Sales & Jim's Trailer Sales. For the last 10 years, he was a self-employed construction contractor. He was an avid race car driver and drag racer in the Tri-Cities thru out his life. He was a N.A.S.C.A.R. fan and a member of the Eagles and the Elks.

Jimmy Lee 'Jim" Adler was preceded in death by his father.

William Owens - Lincoln, NE Step Son: Aaron Mennenga - Dallas, TX Fiancee: Linda Pollan - Hastings, NE

Memorial maybe given to the family

Sat. 3-3-01; 9am until service time
