JoAnn Beach

Roseland resident, JoAnn V. Beach, 73, died Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at Mary Lanning Healthcare in Hastings.

Rosary will be Friday, August 15, 2014; 7:00 P.M. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Roseland, Nebraska. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, August 16, 2014; 10:00 A.M. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Roseland, Nebraska, with Father Thomas Brouillette officiating. Burial will be at Assumption Catholic Cemetery,Roseland, Nebraska. Memorials may be given to the family for a memorial to be established at a later date. Visitation will be Thursday, August 14, 2014; 1:00 P.M. -7:00 P.M., Friday, August 15, 2014, 9:00 A.M. - 3:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Visitation will also be Friday, August 15, 2014, 5:30 P.M. until the Rosary at Sacred Heart Catholic Church; and 1 hour prior to the service at the Church on Saturday.

JoAnn was born October 5, 1940 on a farm near Roseland, Nebraska to Orville & Marie (David) Weber. She graduated from Juniata High School in 1958. JoAnn married Frank W. Beach on June 2, 1962 at Assumption Catholic Church, Roseland, Nebraska. She held several jobs over the years, but driving the school bus for Roseland and Silver Lake Schools for 35 years was her main enjoyment. JoAnn was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and Altar Society in Roseland, was chairman for funeral dinners for many years at the church and was in charge of the quilting group. She enjoyed gardening, quilting, driving the school bus, growing flowers, and sewing. JoAnn was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend.

JoAnn was preceded in death by her parents; step-father, Bueford Wright; infant great-granddaughter, Janessa Skinner; and nephew, Kenny Hubl.
