John Bauer

Fremont resident, John Edward Bauer, 42, died Friday, November 4, 2011 at his home.

Services will be Wednesday, November 9, 2011; 10:30 A.M. at Peace Lutheran Church, Hastings, Nebraska with Rev. Marcus Mackay officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Trumbull, Nebraska. Memorials may be given to the family as a memorial will be established. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 8, 2011; 9 A.M. to 9 P.M at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday.

John was born October 18, 1969 in Omaha, Nebraska. He grew up in Grand Island on a dairy farm and graduated from Grand Island Northwest High School. He was a member of Peace Lutheran Church, Hastings, Nebraska. John enjoyed collecting antique toy cars and listening to jazz music.

John Edward Bauer was preceded in death by his grandparents and nephew Lucas Jalas.
