John Schleicher

Hastings resident John Schleicher, 74, passed away Friday, September 27, 2019, at his home.

John chose cremation and there will be no services. Memorials may be given to the family.

John was born on August 8, 1945, to John & Bette (Thomas) Schleicher in Allentown, PA. He attended Northern Lehigh School in Slatington, PA. John worked as a machinist at Flowserve from 1965 until retiring in 2010.

John married Joyce Weaver in 1978. To this union, they had one daughter, Michelle. John and Joyce later divorced. John enjoyed photography often taking pictures of railroads. John was a lifelong member of the NRA and North America Hunting Club. John was also intrigued by aviation.

John was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Phillip Thomas.
