Hastings resident, John H. Warrings, 90, of 1116 Sycamore, The Homestead, died Tuesday, April 12, 2005 at Haven Home of Kenesaw, Nebraska
Services will be Saturday, April 16, 2005; 10:30 A.M. at Peace Lutheran Church with Rev. Donald Boeschen officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska.
Mr. Warrings was born June 2, 1914 in Clara City, Minnesota to John & Albertina (Junker) Warrings. He graduated from Rising Star District 29, rural Adams County and attended St. Paul's College in Concordia , Missouri. He returned to Hastings, Nebraska to farm. He married Norma Maria Meyer at Prosser, Nebraska on March 20, 1938. He farmed northwest of Hastings until they moved into Hastings in 1980 . He was a 50+ year member of Peace Lutheran Church and was also a member of Lutheran Layman's League.
Mr. Warrings was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Norma Maria and a brother, Irvin Warrings.
