Johnny Reiners

Juniata resident, Johnny G. Reiners, 71, passed away Thursday, November 11, 2010 at Mary Lanning Memorial HealthCare, Hastings, Nebraska.

Services will be Monday, November 15, 2010; 10:00 A.M. at Christ Lutheran Church, rural Juniata with Pastor Greg Volzke officiating. There will be no viewing or visitation as Johnny chose anatomical donation to the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Memorials may be given to Christ Lutheran School or Orphan Grain Train.

Johnny was born June 29, 1939 in Hastings, Nebraska to John & Minnie (Glinsmann) Reiners. On September 8, 1963 he married Judith Stinnette. He served in the Army Reserves. He was a lifetime farmer in the area until his retirement. He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church. Johnny was a member and served on many organizations including: Lutheran Layman's League, many Christ Lutheran Church Boards, Juniata Elevator Board, Highland Township Board, Federal Land Bank Board, Adams County Board of Adjustments, and Adams County Bank Marketing Group.

Johnny was preceded in death by his parents.
