Jordan Glawe

March 12, 1991 — August 6, 2009

Glenvil resident, Jordan Elizabeth Glawe, 18, died Thursday, August 6, 2009 in Clay County, as a result of an automobile accident.

Services will be Tuesday, August 11, 2009; 10:30 A.M. at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Glenvil with Pastor Rob Spicer officiating. Visitation will be Monday, August 10, 2009; 1:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel and Tuesday, August 11, 2009, 1 hour prior to service at the church. Memorials may be given to the Jordan Elizabeth Glawe Memorial Fund at PO Box 67, Glenvil, Nebraska, 68941.

Jordan was born March 12, 1991 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Jeff & Jackie (Farmer) Glawe. She moved with her family to Columbus, Ohio and then to Glenvil, Nebraska in 2006. In 2009, she graduated from Sandy Creek High School where she participated in dramas, speech and journalism. She was a member of the National Art Honor Society in 2006, GUESS, CLOWNS and an active member of LYONS at Immanuel Lutheran Church. She sang beautifully in accompanying her mom in duets. Her activities included; singing, dancing, WWE, drawing and doodling, speech and acting, and a passion for history, (she would have loved to be Queen Elizabeth), movies, Cleveland Indians games with her dad, cards, games, and maps. During a mission trip to New Orleans, Jordan shared with two people who were in need, that Jesus loved them. She also gave away her apple to a homeless lady on the streets and visited and played bingo with victims of AIDS. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and was enrolled at Central Community College for the fall classes.

Jordan was loving and so fun to be around, she was joyful and bubbly and loved to laugh and was always smiling. She loved her family, friends and her dog, Wazzie.

Jordan was preceded in death by her Uncle Tyrone Barnes and Papaw Delmar Farmer.
