Joseph P. Wright

Hastings resident Joseph P. Wright, 52, passed away Saturday, September 30, 2023, at Mary Lanning Healthcare, Hastings, NE.    

Memorial Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, October 5, at Butler Volland Chapel in Hastings. Burial will be held at a later date. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. with the family present Wednesday, October 4, at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to the family for a memorial to be established at a later date or the family is asking you to become an organ donor to honor Joseph. Joseph was born January 12, 1971, in Hastings, NE to Albert M. Sr. and Jo (Page) Wright. He graduated from Hastings Senior High School in 1989. Joseph was a car salesman in the area.

He loved playing baseball throughout high school. He played from age six up to the Chiefs in high school. Joseph loved fishing, bowling, and watching and playing sports. Emersyn was the light of his life for the last six months. He was her Papa Joe. He loved spending time with his family.

Joseph was preceded in death by his father.
