Joyce Aufdenkamp

Hastings resident, Joyce L. Aufdenkamp, 72, of 614 West 11th, died Friday, June 30, 2006 at St. Elizabeth Regional Medical Center, Lincoln, Nebraska.

Memorial service will be Friday, July 7, 2006; 4:00 P.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel with Pastor Joel Remmers officiating. Burial will be at a later date.

Mrs. Aufdenkamp was born February 15, 1934 in Adams County, Nebraska to Jacob 'Whitey' & Elizabeth (Rehn) Schreiner. She graduated from Hastings High School in 1952. She worked at Kerrco and married Alton Aufdenkamp on June 9, 1957. They later divorced. She was a postal clerk for the United Postal Service for 23 years. As a former member of the South St. Paul's Lutheran Church, she was a Sunday School teacher and organist and also a Girl Scout leader for several years. She was a member of First St. Paul's Lutheran Church and a past member of the Eagles Auxiliary and Pythian Sisters.

Mrs. Aufdenkamp was preceded in death by her parents.
