Joyce L. (Keuten) Brannan

Lifelong Hastings resident Joyce L. (Keuten) Brannan, 70, passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at Mary Lanning Healthcare, Hastings, NE.    

There will be no services held at this time. Memorials may be given to the family for a contribution to be given to the Neurofibromatosis Foundation (NF). 

Joyce was born June 3, 1953, in Hastings, NE to Joel and Rotha (Alderman) Keuten. She was a lifelong resident of Hastings who enjoyed riding her scooter to the Eagles Club where she was a member. She also attended the Salvation Army Church. Joyce lived on her own with her dog Cookie and had regular visits from her caretaker Christie Good, both of whom she loved. Joyce faced many struggles throughout her life including surviving childhood polio, born with neurofibromatosis, along with other disabilities. She will be missed by family and friends. 

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents and sister-in-law, Rita Keuten.
