Joyce Patterson

Hastings resident, Joyce E. Patterson, 79, of Perkins Pavilion, died Thursday, April 3, 2008 at Perkins Pavilion.

Services will be Monday, April 7, 2008; 10:30 A.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel with Rev. Charles Johnson officiating. Private family burial will be Tuesday, April 8, 2008 in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska. Visitation will be Sunday, April 6, 2008; 1PM-9PM with family present from 6PM-8PM & Monday, April 7, 2008; 1 hr. prior to service at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to the family.

Mrs. Patterson was born June 16, 1928 in Franklin, Nebraska to Henry & Alma (Francisco) Plank. She graduated from Franklin High School and married Robert Patterson Jr. on September 22, 1945 in Phillipsburg, Kansas. He preceded her in death on September 8, 1994. They moved to Hastings, Nebraska in 1953 and she worked at Weyerhauser until the plant closed. She was a member of the Eagles Auxiliary and a bowling league.

Mrs. Patterson was preceded in death by her parents; step father, Everett Oglevie; husband, Robert; son, Darryl Patterson, four sisters, three brothers, one step brother; granddaughter Jamie Lynn Patterson, grandson-in-law, Gary Kennedy.
