Juanita Scott

Juniata resident, Juanita Alice Scott, 90, passed away Saturday, June 3, 2017, at Harvard Rest Haven, Harvard, Nebraska.

Services will be Friday, June 9, 2017; 3:00 P.M. at Butler Volland Chapel, Hastings with Pastor Tom Murray officiating. Burial will be in Juniata Cemetery, Juniata, Nebraska. Memorials may be given to Juniata Community Church, cards and memorials may be sent to the Scott family at 3280 West 70th Street, Hastings, Nebraska 68901. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 7, 2017; 1:00 P.M. - 5:00 P.M., Thursday, June 8, 2017; 1:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. with family present 6:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M., and one hour prior to service at the funeral home.

Juanita was born February 26, 1927, in Shambaugh, Iowa to Herbert & Nellie (Thompson) Hamm. She married Harold Scott on March 17, 1945; he preceded her in death on December 28, 1996. Juanita was employed as a psychiatric technician until her retirement. She was a member of Juniata Community Church.

Juanita was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harold Scott; daughter, Diana; and four brothers, C. Glen Hamm, Ermal Hamm, Darrell Hamm, and Donald Hamm.
