Judy Stutesman

Roseland resident, Judy L. Stutesman, 71, passed away Sunday, January 1, 2017 at her home.

Rosary will be Wednesday, January 4, 2017; 7:00 P.M. at Butler Volland Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, January 5, 2017; 10:30 A.M. at St. Michael's Catholic Church with Father Michael Houlihan officiating. Burial will be held at a later date in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings. Memorials may be given to St. Michael's Catholic Church or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Book signing will be Wednesday, January 4, 2017; 9:00 A.M. - 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home, and one hour prior to service at the church.

Judy was born August 16, 1945 in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba, Canada to Wilbur & Cora Mae (Haight) Bonar. She graduated from Hastings High School. Judy married Gary Stutesman on May 23, 1964 at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Hastings.

She was employed at the Hastings Regional Center in the administration department for 43 years. Judy attended St. Michael's Catholic Church. She enjoyed camping, gardening, flowers, reading, and spending time with her grandchildren and family. Judy loved Husker football and volleyball.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents; step-father, Mearl Steen; two sisters, Gail Howard and Carol Ewing; and niece, Sukey Egger.
