Juliann was born February 17, 1955 in Hastings, Nebraska to Donald and Louann (Heinz) Kyle. She was the oldest of four daughters. She graduated from Hastings Senior High in 1973. She was in pep club, and worked at Villa Grace. After graduating from high school, Juliann worked at Perkins Pavilion and then began working for Garvey Elevators in the traffic department for 15 years. She also worked for Cigna Insurance in California for seven years. Juliann married her husband, Edwin Koerperich on August 6, 1982 in Hastings, Nebraska. They have one son, Jason. Juliann dearly loved quilting and other crafts, and enjoyed being with her quilting friends and working on quilting projects at her home. She gifted a lot of these crafty items and quilts to the sick and the Brentwood Catholic parish women's altar society. She made over 500 quilts doing what she loved and could talk about each one as though she just made it yesterday. Anyone who received one of these will be wrapped in her love and warmth forever.
