Julie J. Ellis, 53, of Glenvil, Nebraska, died, Thursday, December 30, 2010, at Creighton Medical Center, Omaha, Nebraska.

Services will be Tuesday, January 4, 2011; 2:00 P.M. at Faith Lutheran Church, Hastings, Nebraska with Pastor Paul Dunbar officiating. Burial will be at Blue Valley Cemetery, rural Adams County, Nebraska. Visitation will be Monday at Butler Volland Funeral Home from 9 A.M. to 9 P.M., Tuesday from 9 A.M. to Noon, and one hour prior to the service at the church. Memorials may be given to the family.

Julie J. Ellis was born June 3, 1957 in Grand Island, Nebraska to Victor & Margaret ( Dickerson) Bruckman. She graduated from Sandy Creek High School. She attended CCC Nursing Program, Creighton School of Nursing and received her Associates Degree in Nursing. Julie married Greg A. Ellis Sr. on August 14, 1992 at Faith Lutheran Church. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church and D.A.V. Auxiliary. Julie worked as a RN at Hastings Regional Center, GI Veterans Home, several rural Nursing Homes and Mary Lanning Memorial HealthCare.

Julie J. Ellis was preceded in death by her father.
