Hastings resident, Julietta Lucille (Mousel) Walsh, 93, passed away Friday, May 6, 2011 at Methodist Hospital in Omaha, Nebraska.

Rosary will be Tuesday, May 10, 2011; 8:00 P.M. at Butler Volland Chapel, Hastings. Mass of Christian Burial Services will be Wednesday, May 11, 2011; 10:30 A.M. at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Hastings with Father Michael Houlihan officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska. Visitation will be Monday, May 9, 2011; 5:00 P.M. - 9:00 P.M., Tuesday, May 10, 2011; 9:00 A.M. - 9:00 P.M. at the funeral home, and 1 hour prior to service at the church. Memorials may be given to the Hastings Catholic Schools or Golden Friendship Center of Hastings.

Julie was born May 18, 1917 in Roseland, Nebraska to Charles B. & Frances (Beiriger) Mousel. She moved to Hastings in 1941 and married Joseph T. Walsh on June 18, 1949 at Assumption Catholic Church, near Roseland, Nebraska. Joseph preceded her in death on September 6, 2002. She was a homemaker and worked as a telephone operator at Roseland and the NAD. Julie was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church and Altar Society.

Julie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Joseph T. Walsh; three brothers, Victor Mousel, Leonard Mousel and Virgil Mousel; and seven sisters, Grace Laumann, Alma Trausch, Christine Mousel, Ann Goedert, Nettie Streff, Angie Nelson and Dolores Niemczyk.

Survivors include:
