Hastings resident June E. Doyen, 70, passed away Wednesday, September 5, 2018, at Broken Bow Care and Rehabilitation Center, Broken Bow, NE.
Services are 2 p.m. Tuesday, September 11, at Butler Volland Chapel in Hastings with Chaplain Monica Harvey officiating. Burial will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, September 12 at Fort McPherson National Cemetery in Maxwell, NE. Memorials may be given to the family for a memorial to be established at a later date. Visitation will be Monday 5-8 p.m. with family present 5-6 p.m., and one hour prior to service at the funeral home.
June was born July 6, 1948, in Hastings, NE to Ralph & Grace (Moorhead) Jester. She graduated from Fairfield High School and attended Grand Island Business School. June married James Doyen on July 12, 1969. She worked in food service, retail, and crafts. She was greatly involved in functions for veterans.
June was preceded in death by her parents and infant son, James Wayne Doyen, Jr.
