Karen Hinrichs

Hastings resident, Karen Ann Hinrichs, 70, passed away Sunday, June 24, 2012 at her home.

Services will be Wednesday, June 27, 2012; 11:00 A.M. at Butler Volland Chapel, Hastings with Pastor C.L. Wimer officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska. Memorials may be given to the family. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 26, 2012; 7:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. with family present, and Wednesday, June 27, 2012; 9:00 A.M. - 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home.

Karen was born March 11, 1942 in Campbell, Nebraska to Eldon & Marie (Bender) Parker. She graduated from Campbell High School. Karen married Ken Hinrichs on July 31, 1960 and worked as a pharmacy technician for Nash-Finch before she retired. Karen was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Campbell, Nebraska.

Karen was preceded in death by her parents; son, Kenny Hinrichs; sister, Mavis Brown; and brother, Dwayne Parker.
