Katherine C. Theisen

Hastings resident Katherine C. Theisen, 90, passed away Monday, March 10, 2025, at The Kensington, Hastings, NE.

Rosary will be at 10 a.m. and Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 21, at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Hastings with Father Jeremy Hazuka officiating. The burial will be at Assumption Cemetery, Assumption. There will be no viewing or visitation. Memorials may be given to the family for a memorial to be established at a later date. Katherine was born May 18, 1934, in Juniata, NE to John and Theresa (Hemberger) Loskill. She attended school through the eighth grade. Katherine married Kenneth Theisen on March 2, 1957; he preceded her in death on September 21, 2008.

Katherine worked at Mary Lanning Healthcare in the housekeeping department. She was a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church.

Katherine was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Kenneth Theisen; daughter, Deb; three brothers; six sisters; and son-in-law, Kent Wittler.
