Kathleen Consbruck

July 1, 1941 — October 27, 2003

On October 27, 2003, Kathleen Bernice Consbruck, 62, of 221 W. 6th, joined her heavenly Father after a courageous battle with cancer.

Wake service will be Wednesday, October 29, 7:30 P.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, October 30, 2003; 10:30 A.M. at St. Cecilia's Catholic Church with Father Larry Gyhra officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska.

Kathleen Bernice Consbruck was born July 1, 1941 to Ralph & Irene (Bonifas) Mangers in Aurora, Illinois. She moved, as a small child, with her family to a farm southwest of Hastings, Nebraska. She attended Assumption Catholic Grade School and graduated from Holstein High School in 1959. She married Myron Consbruck on October 28, 1961 at Assumption Church. She was employed at Kansas-Nebraska National Gas Company from 1960 to 1964. She was employed part-time at Hastings Public Library from 1984 to 2003. She was a member of St. Cecilia's Catholic Church and its Altar Society. She was also a member of Catholic Daughters of the Americas and of the Crosier Apostolate.

Kathleen Bernice Consbruck was preceded in death by her father, Ralph Mangers.
