Former Hastings resident, Kathleen Ann Gartner, 66, of Omaha, died Sunday, July 29th at Methodist Hospital, Omaha, Nebraska.
Services will be Thursday, August 2, 2007; 10:00 A.M. at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Glenvil, Nebraska with Rev. Harold D. Stromer officiating. Burial will be in Glenvil Cemetery, Glenvil, Nebraska. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 1, 2007; Noon - 9 P.M. with family present 7 P.M.- 9 P.M. at the funeral home & Thursday, August 2, 2007; 1 hr. prior to service at the church. Memorials may be given to Immanuel Lutheran Church, Glenvil.
Mrs. Gartner was born June 5, 1941 in Hastings, Nebraska to Henry & Anna (Schmidt) Epkes. She graduated from Hastings High School in 1959 and married Norman Gartner on January 9, 1966. She was a bookkeeper for J.M. McDonald Department store in Hastings, worked in several grocery stores and at Sitel for 16 years, in Omaha, Nebraska. She was a past member of First St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Hastings.
Mrs. Gartner was preceded in death by her parents and a nephew, Wade Martin.
