Roseland resident, Kay A. Thomas, 67, passed away Tuesday, October 31, 2017, at her home.
Services will be Friday, November 3, 2017; 10:00 A.M. at Butler Volland Chapel, Hastings with Pastor Jay Towell officiating. Burial will be Friday, November 3, 2017; 2:30 P.M. at Armada Cemetery, North of Miller, Nebraska. Memorials may be given to the family to be established at a later date. Visitation will be Thursday, November 2, 2017; 1:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. with family present 6:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M., and one hour prior to service at the funeral home.
Kay was born December 11, 1949, in Lexington, Nebraska to Kenneth & Zella R. (Rhoadarmer) Day. She graduated from Ansley High School in 1968 and attended Kearney State College for one year. Kay married Jerry Thomas on April 24, 1970, in Broken Bow, Nebraska.
She was a bookkeeper for many different businesses and retired from Gottsch Livestock Feeders. Kay loved her dogs and was always very creative, enjoyed shopping but most of all enjoyed her kids and grandkids. She attended most of their activities.
Kay was preceded in death by her parents; brother, James Day; and father-in-law & mother-in-law, Eugene & Ruby Thomas.
