Kenneth Campbell

Hastings resident, Kenneth L. Campbell, 79, passed away Saturday, August 31, 2013 at Mary Lanning HealthCare, Hastings, Nebraska.

Memorial Services will be Friday, September 6, 2013; 2:00 P.M. at Butler Volland Chapel, Hastings with Major Abe Tamayo officiating. Private family burial will be in Fort McPherson National Cemetery, Maxwell, Nebraska. There will be no viewing or visitation. Memorials may be given to the family.

Kenneth was born November 19, 1933 in Seymour, Missouri to Orie & Nelva (Hargus) Campbell. He served with the U.S. Army from December 29, 1950 until December 9, 1953 during the Korean War as a medic. He moved to Hastings from California and married Shirley S. Perrie on September 8, 1973. He was an over the road truck driver and a member of the Salvation Army in Hastings.
