Kenneth Gomez Sr.

Hastings resident Kenneth W. Gomez Sr., 66, passed away Monday, March 8, 2021, at Mary Lanning Healthcare, Hastings, NE.

Rosary and services will be 10 a.m. Friday, March 12, at Butler Volland Chapel in Hastings with Father Christopher Kubat officiating. Burial will be at Parkview Cemetery in Hastings. Visitation will be 1-5 p.m. Thursday and one hour prior to service at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to the family for a memorial to be established at a later date. For the health and safety of others face masks are required for those attending the visitation and funeral, your cooperation is appreciated. Since there are material sharing restrictions, we ask that you bring your own pen for signing the registration book or memorial envelopes. If you do not bring one, we can do that for you.

Kenneth was born August 30, 1954, in Seymour, TX to Jesse & Conception (Torres) Gomez. He married Herminia Torres on December 26, 1973. Kenneth worked for several companies as a laborer.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents; son, Jesse Adam Torres; and siblings, Anthonio Gomez, Martin Gomez, Elvariste Gomez, Rosa Gonzalez, Jesse Gomez; Janie Gonzalez, Mamie Rodriguez, Mary Rodriguez, and Patricio Sabas Gomez.
