Kenneth Hoover

Hastings resident, Kenneth Hoover, 79, passed away Monday, December 29, 2014 at University of Nebraska Medical Center, Omaha, Nebraska.

A Memorial Service will be Friday, January 9, 2015; 2:00 P.M. at Butler Volland Chapel, Hastings with Rev. Dr. Lee R. Wigert officiating. Burial with military rites by Hastings Veterans Organizations will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings. There will be no viewing or visitation. Memorials may be given to the family.

Kenneth was born July 28, 1935 in Mount Pleasant, Iowa to John S. & Gertrude (McMurn) Hoover. He graduated from Glenvil High School in 1954 and served in the U.S. Navy from 1955 until 1959. Kenneth married Alice Jane Pattersen on 1961. He was a truck driver and a member of Teamsters.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
