Kenneth Lueders

Hastings resident, Kenneth "Kenny" F. Lueders, 59, passed away Sunday, February 21, 2016 at his home.

Memorial Services will be Thursday, February 25, 2016; 10:30 A.M. at Butler Volland Chapel, Hastings with Pastor Barry Rempp officiating. Burial will be held at a later date. Memorials may be given to the family for a memorial to be established at Parkview Cemetery at a later date. There will be no viewing or visitation. Book signing will be Wednesday, February 24, 2016; 9:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M. and one hour prior to service at the funeral home.

Kenny was born November 14, 1956 in Hastings, Nebraska to Erhart "Obee" & Kathryn (Tainter) Lueders. He graduated from Hastings High School in 1975 and attended Central Community College for 1 ½ years where he played golf. Kenny married Pam Schuck on September 26, 1981 in Harvard, Nebraska. He worked for the City of Hastings as the Cemetery Superintendent for Parkview Cemetery; he worked there over 40 years starting while he was in high school. Kenny was a past member of Southern Hills Golf Course and member of Crimson Connection at Hastings College. He enjoyed NASCAR, Hastings College sporting events, golfing, bowling, playing softball, and watching Nebraska football.

Kenny was preceded in death by his father and uncle (godfather), Rueben Lueders.
