Hastings resident, Kenneth Dean Nash, 76, passed away Monday, May 9, 2011 at his home.
Services will be Thursday, May 12, 2011; 10:00 A.M. at First St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 501 N. Burlington Avenue, Hastings with Pastor Joel Remmers officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 11, 2011; 11:00 A.M. - 9:00 P.M. with family present from 6:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home, and 1 hour prior to service at the church. Memorials may be given to the Kenneth D. Nash Memorial Fund.
Kenneth was born December 16, 1934 in Hastings, Nebraska to Roy M. & Grace A. (Peters) Nash. He graduated from Hastings High School. Kenneth served in the U.S. Army from 1957 until 1959. On October 16, 1954 he married Dorothy A. VanLengen in Hastings. He was a self employed custom harvester and was a lifetime member of First St. Paul's Lutheran Church. He was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Wayne Nash.
