Kenneth L. "Ken" Stapleman

Hastings resident Kenneth L. “Ken” Stapleman, 57, passed away Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at his home. 

Memorial Services will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 8, at Butler Volland Chapel in Hastings with Chaplain John Mueller officiating. There will be no burial at this time. Visitation will be 1-7 p.m. with the family present 5-7 p.m. Friday, February 7, and one hour before the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to the family for a memorial to be established at a later date. The service will be live-streamed on Livingston Butler Volland Funeral Home’s website. Ken was born on July 10, 1967, in Burwell, NE to Howard and Brenda (Todd) Stapleman. He married Pam Strong on June 9, 1990, and the couple had two children; they later divorced. Ken married Charlene Alloway on August 18, 2007. 

Ken worked in the shipping department for Dutton-Lainson for 17 years. In his younger days, Ken was a ranch hand and butcher. He enjoyed spending his time fishing, hunting, and being outdoors with his children and grandchildren. 

Ken was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Howard Stapleman Jr.
