L. Ernst

L. Keith Ernst, 70 of 1714 W. 4th Street, died Tuesday, October 29, 2002 at York General Hospital, York, Nebraska.

Services will be Friday, November 1, 2002; 10:00 A.M. at First St. Paul's Lutheran Church with Pastor Frank Kerkemeyer officiating. Burial with military rites will be in Kenesaw Cemetery, Kenesaw, Nebraska.

L. Keith Ernst was born June 25, 1932 in Kenesaw, Nebraska to Floyd & Wauneta (Branson) Ernst. He graduated from Kenesaw High School in 1950 and on October 19, 1952, he married Ardyce Goldenstein in Glenvil, Nebraska. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War from November 14, 1952 to August 25, 1954. He worked for Hastings Battery & Electric, Metz Bakery Company and the United States Post Office, retiring in 1992. He was a member of First St. Paul's Lutheran Church where he served as an usher and a greeter, V.F.W.and American Legion. He was a past Eagle member.

L. Keith Ernst was preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother, 1 sister and an infant sister.
