Hastings resident, Larry L. Glover, 56, of 726 S. Lexington, died Saturday, October 16, 2004 at his home.
Services will be Wednesday, October 20, 2004; 2:00 P.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel with Rev. Judith Allen officiating. Burial with military rites will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska.
Mr. Glover was born August 13, 1948 in Broken Bow, Nebraska to Clifford L. & Rose E. (Brassier) Glover. He graduated from Hastings High School in 1966 and served in the United State Marine Corps during the Vietnam War from November 29, 1966 until October 24, 1969. He was awarded the Purple Heart, National Defense Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with 5 stars, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Combat Action Ribbon, Navy Achievement medal with Combat V, Meritorious Unit Citation, Good Conduct Medal and Sharp Shooters Badge. He was working for E & I Specialties.
Mr. Glover was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, David and Ronald.
