Larry Hinrichs

Glenvil resident, Larry G. Hinrichs, 73, passed away Monday, January 10, 2011 at his home.

Services will be Thursday, January 13, 2011; 10:30 A.M. at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Glenvil with Pastor Delmar Klover officiating. Burial will be in Glenvil Cemetery, Glenvil, Nebraska. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 12, 2011; 1:00 P.M. - 9:00 P.M. at Butler Volland funeral home, and 1 hour prior to service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Crossroads Center of Hastings or Immanuel Lutheran Church of Glenvil.

Larry was born January 19, 1937 in Glenvil, Nebraska to Reemt & Lena (Rothfuss) Hinrichs. He graduated from Glenvil High School. On May 15, 1955 he married Janis Sherman at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Glenvil. He was an area farmer for many years. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Board member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, past President of the Fairfield COOP, past President of the Glenvil Credit Union, and past member of the Sandy Creek School Board.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Martin, Harvey, Ervin, and Alvin; and granddaughter, Riley Hinrichs.
