Larry Potts

Hastings resident, Larry D. Potts, 78, passed away Thursday, October 6, 2016, at Bryan Medical Center West Campus, Lincoln, Nebraska.

Memorial service will be Monday, October 10, 2016; 10:00 A.M. at First St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Hastings with Pastor Joel Remmers officiating. Burial will be at a later date. Memorials may be given to the family for a memorial to be established at a later date. Visitation will be Sunday, October 9, 2016; 5:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. with the family present.

Larry was born March 2, 1938 to Harley & Florene (Magarin) Potts in Cody, Wyoming. Larry attended trade school for diesel mechanics in Kansas City, Missouri. He was a well-known diesel mechanic and was greatly appreciated by many farmers in the area. Larry married Holly Moorhead on December 18, 1963 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Blue Hill, Nebraska.

Larry was a member of First St. Paul's Lutheran Church. He was very active in the church and he was a devout Christian.Larry was preceded in death by his parents and grandchild, Andrea Lee Potts.
