Hastings resident, Larry G. Stutheit, 59, of 524 So. St. Joseph Avenue, Hastings, Nebraska, died Saturday, March 19, 2005 at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital.
Services will be Wednesday, March 23, 2005; 10:30 A.M. at Peace Lutheran Church with Rev. Donald Boeschen officiating. Burial will be in Blue Valley Cemetery, Ayr, Nebraska.
Mr. Stutheit was born January 26, 1946 in Hastings, Nebraska to Clarence H. & Irene M. (Lammers) Stutheit. He grew up in Blue Hill, Nebraska and graduated from Blue Hill High School in 1964. He served in the Nebraska National Guard from 1966 to 1970. He moved to Hastings, Nebraska in 1967 and married Dianne F. Kort on June 18, 1967. He worked for Kansas-Nebraska for 8 years, Coleman Powermate for 14 years, Hastings Daily Tribune paper carrier at Good Samaritan Village for 14 years and 15 years at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital as Assistant Director of Engineering. He was a member of Peace Lutheran Church and was an outdoors man, enjoying hunting, fishing and softball.
Mr. Stutheit was preceded in death by his parents.
