LeeAnne Maul

Hastings resident, LeeAnne Maul passed away February 9, 2024 at her home. 

Memorial Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, February 21, 2024 at Livingston Butler Volland Funeral Home with Pastor Joel Remmers officiating. Burial will be at Parkview Cemetery.  Memorials may be given to the family for a memorial to be established at a later date. LeeAnne was born October 23, 1948 in Adams County, Nebraska to Norman P. and Dorothy Marie Blunt (Crone). She graduated from Hastings High School in 1967 and married Dale Curtis on August 26, 1968, at St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Hastings; they later divorced.

LeeAnne was a stay-at-home mom prior to becoming a seamstress for Mode O’Day. LeeAnne also taught preschool at Pooh Corner, later becoming a pharmacy tech for WalMart. LeeAnne enjoyed caring for all her grandchildren from picking up from school locally, to travelling to help care for the military kiddos. She also enjoyed playing cards and dominos with friends and family. She loved gardening, sudoku, and passing down her love of baking.

LeeAnne was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Wilbur and Charles Blunt, son, Brandon Curtis, and granddaughter, Erin Streff.
