Lelia Lavene Robinson, 94, of Juniata, Nebraska, died Friday, April 10, 2009 at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital.
Services will be Thursday, April 16, 2009; 10:30 A.M. at Juniata United Methodist Church with Rev. Dr. Lee R. Wigert officiating. Burial will be in the Juniata Cemetery, Juniata, Nebraska. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 15, 2009; Noon - 9:00 P.M. with family present from 6:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M. at the funeral home and Thursday, April 16, 2009; 1 hr. prior to service at the church. Memorials may be given to the Juniata United Methodist Church or the Alzheimer's Association.
Lelia was born January 1, 1915 in Guthrie Center, Iowa to Tedford & Vianna (Banister) Smith. On May 7, 1937, she married Berton Clayton Robinson in Holyoke, Colorado. He preceded her in death on May 1, 1979. Lelia was a homemaker and a member of Juniata United Methodist Church, where she taught Sunday school for several years, and the American Legion Auxiliary #365.
Lelia was preceded in death by her parents, six brothers, one sister, husband, one granddaughter and one Angel.
