Leona Heuertz

Former Roseland resident, Leona M. Heuertz, 95, of Haven Home of Kenesaw, Nebraska, died Wednesday, December 26, 2001 at Haven Home.

Rosary service will be Friday, December 28, 2001; 7:30 P.M. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Roseland, Nebraska. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, December 29, 2001; 10:00 A.M. at Sacred Heart Catholic with Father Steven Major officiating. Burial will be in Roseland Cemetery, Roseland, Nebraska.

Leona M. Heuertz was born April 1, 1906 in Holstein, Nebraska to Charles & Kathryn (Harth) Gentert. She married Alois M. Heuertz in Assumption, Nebraska on April 29, 1925 and he preceded her in death in 1954. She was a homemaker and also worked at the Hastings Regional Center. She was a life long area resident and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and Altar Society.

Leona M. Heuertz was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Alois M. Heuertz, 1 son, James, 2 sisters and 4 brothers.
