LeRoy Hackbart, 50, of 739 South Lexington #108, Hastings, Nebraska died Friday, December 28, 2001 at his home.

Graveside services will be Wednesday, January 2, 2002; 11:30 A.M. at the Purdum Cemetery, Purdum, Nebraska with Rev. Linda L. Martin officiating. Memorial services will be Wednesday, January 2, 2002 ; 1:00 P.M. at the First Congregational United Church of Christ, Halsey, Nebraska with Rev. Linda L. Martin officiating.

LeRoy Hackbart was born September 9, 1951 at Halsey, Nebraska to Richard F. & Caroline (Swisher) Hackbart. He graduated from Halsey-Dunning High School in 1970. He served in the U. S. Army from September 27, 1977 through April 8, 1983. He moved to Hastings, Nebraska in 1997 from Central City, Nebraska and became involved with Opportunity House. His interests included country music, dancing, boating, fishing, camping and riding horses.

LeRoy Hackbart was preceded in death by his father, Richard F. Hackbart, 2 brothers Loren Hackbart and Alan Harden and his grandparents.
