Leslie Meyer

Adams County resident, Leslie D. 'Les' Meyer, 70, of 1765 W. Assumption Rd., died Saturday, July 28, 2007 at Perkins Pavilion, Hastings, Nebraska.

Services will be Thursday, August 2, 2007; 10:00 A.M. at First St. Paul's Lutheran Church with Pastor Adam White officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul's Lutheran Churchyard Cemetery, west of Glenvil, Nebraska. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 31, 2007; 9:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. & Wednesday, August 1. 2007; 9:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. with family present from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Thursday, August 2, 2007; 1 hr. prior to service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society or American Diabetes Association Children's Camp.

Mr. Meyer was born April 12, 1937 in Hastings, Nebraska to Ernest & Gertrude (Stromer) Meyer. He married Pat Kivett on September 25, 1960 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church west of Glenvil. He was a farmer and a member of First St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Hastings, He was a friend of Bill W. and loved to play cards.

Mr. Meyer was preceded in death by his parents.
