Lillian Baumann

Hastings resident, Lillian Lucile Baumann, 97, passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at Perkins Pavilion Good Samaritan Society-Hastings Village, Hastings, Nebraska.

Services will be Tuesday, December 27, 2016; 11:00 A.M. at First Presbyterian Church, Hastings with Pastor Don Canady officiating. Private family burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Trumbull. Memorials may be given to First Presbyterian Church or to the family for a memorial to be established at a later date. Visitation will be Monday, December 26, 2016; 9:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Lillian was born May 30, 1919 to Eugene & Lucy (Young) Osler at rural Kenesaw, Nebraska. Lillian married Don Baumann of Hansen, Nebraska, on September 1, 1940; he preceded her in death on October 17, 2000. She was a homemaker, teacher, and an active member of First Presbyterian Church.

Lillian was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Don Baumann; son, Walter E. Baumann; and sister, Waunetta Westing.
