Lillian Elliott

Hastings resident, Lillian Josephine Elliott, 103, beloved sister, aunt and centenarian passed away Tuesday, July 20, 2010 at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital, Hastings, Nebraska.

Her family has planned a private gathering to celebrate her life.

Lillian was born on July 1, 1907 in St. Joseph, Missouri to Joseph & Anna (Engler) Elliott. Lillian enjoyed a long and distinguished career with the Pacific Bell Telephone Company working in both San Diego and Inglewood, California for many years. She retired in 1965 and returned to her family home in Hastings where she resided until recently. Lillian's lifelong dedication to her family is her greatest legacy.

Lillian was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Viola Elliott, Mildred Consbruck, Evelyn Harr, and Darleen Knox; brother, Buzz Elliott; and nephews, Gene Consbruck, Mike Elliott, and Guy Elliott Knox.
