Linda Berry

Hastings resident, Linda D. (Post) Berry, 59, of 1331 North Cedar, died Tuesday, July 3, 2007 at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital.

Services will be Monday, July 9, 2007; 10:00 A.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel with Pastor Joel Remmers officiating. Burial will be in Glenvil Cemetery, Glenvil, Nebraska. Memorials may be given to American Cancer Society. Visitation will be Saturday, July 7, 2007; 9am-9pm, Sunday, July 8, 2007; 1pm-9pm & Monday, July 9, 2007 9am until service time at the funeral home.

Mrs. Berry was born May 25, 1948 in Hastings, Nebraska to Bernard & Kathleen (Todd) Post and grew up in Pauline, Nebraska. She was baptized at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Blue Hill. She graduated from Blue Hill High School and attended Central Community College and received her Dental Assistant Degree. She worked for the Central Dental Group and later attended Kearney State College. She married Ken Berry and later divorced. She worked at Gibson's, Woolworths and Wells Fargo as a Lead Teller for 28 years.

Mrs. Berry was preceded in death by her mother.
